Work Toward Beautifying Your Community During This Annual Earth Day Celebration

Have you made plans for Earth Day? Celebrate Louisiana Earth Day’s 29th Anniversary with 70 fun educational exhibits, music and entertainment for everyone at Louisiana State University Agricultural Center. Children will especially enjoy participating in the myriad of hands-on, engaging, learning activities highlighting environmental stewardship of Earth’s resources.

Exhibitors include universities, environmental non-profits, government agencies, schools, and more. This year's featured music is The Carbon Copy Band. Whatever you are in the mood for, the Carbon Copy Band can deliver. The five-person band has been making music together for 10 years, which keeps their sets smooth and versatile. Complete with a horns section, Carbon Copy will add that extra special touch!

The LSU AgCenter’s mission is to provide the people of Louisiana with research-based educational information that will improve their lives and economic well-being. It plays an integral role in supporting agricultural industries, enhancing the environment, and improving the quality of life. Admission to Louisiana Earth Day is free, and we look forward to seeing you there!

If you feel like escaping The Crossing Apartments in Denham Springs, Louisiana for the day, this event is a perfect opportunity to do just that! Trust us when we say that there’s no harm in getting out and exploring the greater community.
